  • The average fees range for B.Tech in Electronics Engineering is around 3 to 5 lakhs. However, in some private colleges, the fee range is high and is around 5 to 12 lakhs for the full course.

  1. Class 12th qualification with minimum marks required in physics, chemistry and mathematics. 
  2. A good score and rank in the joint entrance exam, conducted twice a year by the National Testing Agency.

  2. An electronics engineer can also work in the IT sector in software jobs by getting hired by companies like Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro, Google or Amazon.
  3. An Electronics engineer can apply for the Indian Engineering Services conducted by the Union Public Service Commission, or they may enter any public sector undertaking after qualifying the GATE examination. 
  4. Some of the public sector undertakings which recruit electronics engineers are DRDO, NTPC, BHEL and IOCL.
  5. An electronics engineer can also appear in other government exams, like exams conducted by the railways or the armed forces of our country.
