About the Department of Management Studies

Established in 1978, the Department of Management Studies (DoMS), NIT Trichy, is one of the oldest management schools in India under the NIT system. Backed by a strong technical university, DoMS blends management education with technical excellence.

DoMS is also the only B-school among all NITs that receives direct funding from the Ministry of Education (formerly MHRD), which ensures top-class infrastructure, governance, and academic standards.
