Established in 2004, the institute is part of the ICARE Knowledge Campus located in Hatiberia, Haldia. It is affiliated with Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), formerly known as WBUT, and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
