About KIIT School of Rural Management (KSRM)

Established in 2006 as a constituent school of KIIT University, the KIIT School of Rural Management (KSRM) has emerged as a premier institute in India for rural and development management education. With a mission to empower professionals capable of creating sustainable change in rural and social sectors, KSRM integrates strong academic grounding with field-based exposure.

Admission process 2025-26
 

1. Online application through KIIT official website.

2. Shortlisting based on entrance exam scores.

3. Personal Interview (PI) & Group Discussion (GD).

4. Final selection based on cumulative performance.
   
   
   

Eligibility Criteria:

• A graduate degree (minimum 3 years) in any discipline with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates).

• Final-year graduation students can also apply.

• Valid score in any one of the following entrance exams: KIITEE Management / CAT / MAT / XAT / CMAT / GMAT / ATMA.

Important Dates (Tentative for 2025):

• KIITEE Management Exam: January 2025

• PI & GD rounds: February 2025

• Final selection list: March 2025

• Session begins: July 2025

Courses Offered

1. MBA in Rural Management (MBA-RM)

• Duration: 2 years (Full-time)

• Focus: Rural development, agribusiness, social entrepreneurship, and public policy.

• Curriculum includes classroom teaching and a strong component of fieldwork and internships.
  
  
  

2. MBA in Agribusiness Management (MBA-ABM)

• Duration: 2 years (Full-time)

• Focus: Agriculture supply chains, food processing, rural marketing, and agri-tech.

Both programs emphasize experiential learning with hands-on projects and field immersion modules.
