Velammal College of Engineering and Technology (VCET) is a premier engineering institution in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, established in 2007 under the Velammal Educational Trust. Known for its academic excellence, industry-oriented curriculum, and state-of-the-art infrastructure, VCET aims to produce skilled engineers and technologists.

Admission Open 2025-26

Admissions are primarily based on TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission) counseling conducted by Anna University for B.E./B.Tech programs. For M.E./M.Tech, admissions are through TANCET/GATE scores.

Eligibility Criteria For B.E./B.Tech

• • Passed 10+2 (HSC) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

  • Minimum 50% aggregate (45% for reserved categories).

  • Valid TNEA rank (for Tamil Nadu candidates).
    
    

Eligibility Criteria For M.E./M.Tech

• • Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering discipline.

  • Valid TANCET/GATE score.
