GCECT Admission Process for 2025:

  • B.Tech Admissions:

    • Candidates must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, securing at least 45% marks (40% for reserved categories).
    • Admission is based on the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) scores.
    • WBJEE 2025 application window: January 22, 2025 – February 23, 2025.
    • WBJEE 2025 examination date: April 27, 2025.


  • M.Tech Admissions:

    • Applicants should hold a B.E./B.Tech degree in a relevant discipline with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories).
    • Admission is through the West Bengal University of Technology Post Graduate Entrance Test (WBUT PGET) or GATE scores.

  • Ph.D. Admissions:

    • Candidates must possess a master's degree with a minimum of 55% marks.
    • Selection involves a written test conducted by MAKAUT, followed by an interview.


GCECT Fee Structure

  • B.Tech Programs:

    • Annual fees range from ₹9,025 to ₹27,500, varying by specialization.
       
  • M.Tech Programs:

    • First-year fees are approximately ₹18,000 to ₹36,000.
