About Institute of Engineering and Rural Technology

The Institute of Engineering and Rural Technology (IERT), Allahabad (Prayagraj), is a government-funded engineering institute in Uttar Pradesh. Established in 1955, it is one of the oldest technical institutions in the region and is affiliated with Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow.

Admission Open 2025-26

Admissions at IERT Allahabad for B.Tech programs are primarily through Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE/UPCET) conducted by AKTU.

Eligibility Criteria:

• B.Tech: 10+2 (PCM) with minimum 45% (40% for reserved categories).
